The fourth blessing of the year of 2013 would have to be care packages, Skype calls and emails from friends and family back in the States.
We always need outside affirmation that what we're doing with our time, jobs and lives is indeed from Him. It amazingly sweet when we are given affirmation of that through our talks with family and friends. I can't even tell you how wonderful it has been to have people send us care packages. The taste of a Reese's cup, or of Parmesan cheese, or of chocolate chips never tasted so good from anyone in our lives until it comes after months of not tasting any of that. We also really appreciated Skype conversations with family members and friends. Just to keep up with people and get really good time with family through Skype means the world to us. We couldn't have weathered so many years without the support of family and friends keeping in contact with us. This year was especially necessary as we had Eva and needed to get extra special help with understanding what to expect from having a one year old. The prayers, emails, phone calls and care packages were so important to us. Thank you for providing that for us.
