I would have to say that we were blessed by a wonderful couple, Lydi and Fern, who provided us with so many things for our new baby. They were there when we needed a listening ear. They invited us over for dinners. They also gave us some really useful things like a high chair and clothes and toys and books for a baby girl. They were such a sweet help to us in large times of need. Certainly, those first few months of moving from one city in China to another with a one month old were difficult times for me as a mom. I just needed so much support. This family really gave us new parent support.
