We have been back in the chicken for a few weeks. We had a short adventure to a few other provinces which I will put up in just a few days as well. Things here have been really busy. Today the newbies are going to get their "residence permits". It is always an adventure to go visit the police here. I think they will get the job done today.
Last weekend was a pretty big milestone in one of the babies lives here. The H house celebrated Keen's 100 days of being alive. Apparently, it is a big tradition for kids to get their pictures taken on this day here. So, the H house decided to have everyone just come over and take pictures of Keen. It was a pretty good time, but Keen got a little bit exhausted toward the middle and couldn't stand another person holding him, so he had a nap while everyone else just talked and hung out with each other. The H house also got very creative and jumped into the tradition by boiling eggs to give out to everyone. Little did we know that that tradition was supposed to be done at one month instead of 100 days and they were supposed to be dyed red! So, either way, the eggs were boiled and colored on by a few students with red marker. I think it sufficed to have them. They were good to eat, that's all I needed to know! :)
We have been busy busy this week. We are starting our full schedule of classes. That means that we get to start teaching a new class, Listening. How in the world do you teach someone how to listen to English? I've never even thought about it before. So, alas, we will teach something? Ask for us!
